1888, London. The year Jack the Ripper went full-time. We don’t know who Jack was, but there’s a good chance he enjoyed Porter – the official beer of those who did London’s dirty work. With seven specialty malts adding notes of smoke, caramel and chocolate and a rich, creamy finish, ours is so dark you could lose a wanted man in it.
BREWER’S NOTES: Our take on an old school London Porter popularised around the early 19th century, features 7 specialty malts all of which contribute something to the style of that era in terms of colour, smoke, caramel and chocolate notes. Subtle dry hopping integrates a complex palate of malts with moderate bitterness and fruity hop notes.
